Tasavvur translates as ‘Imagination’. Rooted in Indian musical traditions while open to global influences, this evening allows Indian classical, contemporary, and experimental sensibilities to sit side by side. Singer, producer, and composer Sarthak brings his fearless musicality and expressive voice to a performance that feels both personal and expansive.
Recently, Sarthak has worked as a composer on the YRF film Mardaani and is currently scoring multiple upcoming Bollywood projects, alongside an ongoing Tamil feature. In recent years he has collaborated extensively with AR Rahman across multiple feature films & a Music Editor, Music Supervisor, and singer.
His music ranges from emotive melodic songwriting to experimental sound design and immersive film scoring, moving easily between romantic ballads, folk-influenced textures, and cinematic soundscapes.
Sarthak regularly collaborates with the Hall’s Associate Artists Rushil Ranjan and Abi Sampa, most recently on projects including Songs of the Bulbul, Khwaa-ish, and Ruhaniyat. Tasavvur marks his Royal Albert Hall debut, and promises a late-night concert of imagination, nuanc,e and atmosphere.
