Embark on a merry musical expedition with the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s brass section for the milestone anniversary of the Zoological Society of London.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra’s brass section marks the Zoological Society of London’s (ZSL) 200th anniversary with an After Dark celebration.

Following the orchestra’s performance of Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals earlier in the evening, the After Dark programme opens with a stately fanfare by William Walton, written 50 years ago for ZSL’s 150th anniversary.

The brass then take you on a lively sonic safari through Chris Hazell’s Cats Suite, before raising a festive final toast with Goff Richards’ Homage to the Noble Grape.

In collaboration with ZSL.
