Led by Schumann’s Kreisleriana, Granados’s haunting El amor y la muerte, and Prokofiev’s electrifying seventh Sonata, the recital explores the extremes of human emotion — from poetic introspection to raw, unbridled energy.

Known for his expressive depth and international artistic path, Sanguino brings these masterpieces to life with a rare blend of sensitivity and fire. This programme offers a compelling narrative of love, struggle, and transcendence, showcasing a young artist whose musical voice continues to captivate audiences across Europe.

Pianist Manuel Sanguino was born in the Dominican Republic and holds Spanish nationality. From an early age, he showed exceptional talent, which soon led him to receive important international recognition.

In 2010, Manuel was awarded a scholarship by the Danilo Pérez Foundation and selected to participate in the renowned Panama Jazz Festival. One year later, he moved to the Netherlands, where he won first prize in the Perpetuum Mobile competition, organized by the Young Talent Academy of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory.
