Join us for an unforgettable evening where choral music meets the Argentinian nuevo tango as we perform the ‘Misa a Buenos Aires’, known as the ‘Misatango’, a setting of the mass in Latin by Martín Palmeri featuring accordion and strings.
We will also be performing Michael Higgins’s ‘The Cloths of Heaven’ which is a musical setting of W.B. Yeats’ famous poem, premiered in 2024 as well as Piazzolla’s ‘Libertango’. The concert will also include Warlock’s ‘Capriol Suite’ arranged for strings.
