Established in the East End in 1926, LJMC is a living legacy: for a century, its voices have beguiled audiences in the UK and globally and this concert is the high point of a year-long celebration.
LJMC will be joined by acclaimed cantors Steven Leas and Yoav Oved, along with pianist Leo Nicholson and a special klezmer group, in a programme including powerful cantorial showcases and beloved musical theatre as well as the timeless beauty of Yiddish song, the energy of Israeli folk music and popular secular classics.
