After the interval, a contemporary voice is heard in a string quartet by O'Sullivan, offering a modern contrast in style and expression. The concert concludes with the spirited Quintet in D major, “Fandango” by Luigi Boccherini, a vibrant work that fuses Classical elegance with Spanish flair, culminating in the famous fandango dance with its infectious rhythms and theatrical energy.
