Curated by August Charles, the first edition focuses on hip-hop, soul, blues and R&B, the genres that have shaped his journey so far. The lineup features August Charles, jev., FloFilz, and Mica Sefia, bringing together distinct voices for a night rooted in rhythm, lyricism, and discovery.
The artists will be backed by a dedicated live house band made up of outstanding jazz musicians, creating space for each set to feel expansive, musical, and alive in the moment.
ROOTWRKS is about catching artists early and experiencing the work at its foundation.
