Emma Alter - Baroque Viola & Violin
British Violist Emma has been described by Paul McCreesh as “one of the finest players of her generation,” and has been saluted by Music and Vision for her “beautifully rich tone, and an almost gypsy earthiness.” Her expertise spans from Renaissance extemporisation to the romantic works of Brahms and beyond. She has been in demand since 1997, performing, touring, and recording with the most refined early music ensembles in the UK and abroad.
Rudolf Balàzs - Baroque Violin
Hungarian Baroque violinist Rudolf trained at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig and the University of Southampton, where he completed an MMus in Early Music Performance under the guidance of Caroline Balding and Elizabeth Kenny. Specialising in historically informed performance practice, he is noted for his curiosity, refined aesthetic sensibilities, and fondness for traversing stylistic boundaries.
