SULKA

Music Room London, SE14 5BA , [Venue Details]

Glasgow’s Sulka is the DIY alt-pop project of Lukas Clasen and his new album Bute is out July 2026. Blending intimate vocals, lo-fi aesthetics, and grunge/shoegaze dynamics, Sulka’s sound draws comparisons to Alex G and Sparklehorse.

Saturday,
11 Jul 2026
@8.00pm

Since joining the Lost Map Records collective for 2021’s acclaimed Take Care and 2023’s Distractions, Sulka has earned BBC Radio play from Steve Lamacq and Vic Galloway, alongside sold-out UK tour dates.

Inspired by a mid-winter writing trip to the Isle of Bute, the new record marks a return to Clasen’s self-produced roots, merging early homemade charm with the radio-ready fidelity of his recent studio work. The album explores themes of time, aging, and nature, utilizing field recordings of wind, rain, and fractured radio broadcasts to evoke a sense of coastal solitude.
