All London's live music

Alt / Indie, Pop, Reggae

Finley Quaye

The Dublin Castle, NW1 7AN , [Venue Details]

Finley Quaye - tonight, with a live band show as part of his Autumn tour, the DC and Mr Quaye looks like a great fit.

Wednesday,
9 Sep 2026
@7.30pm

From an impressively musical family that have made great impressions in the worlds of jazz, rock, reggae, pop, Triphop and EDM, Finley hits big in the nineties with his uber cool, sophisticated but exciting and edgy pop/reggae melange. Tunes like ‘Sun Is Shining’ from that era are still nailed on classics.

He’s had his challenges and more than his share of hardships and tragedy but you can’t keep a good man down, and he’s never really been away, producing great work over the years with the likes of William Orbit, Beth Orton, Norman Grant (Twinkle Brothers) and the recently departed Sly Dunbar.

And it’s not all about the fab music… In 2021, Queen Elizabeth II awarded Finley the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service with Food For All, for preparing food and for campaigning as well as distributing free and hot food to the homeless in London between 2000 and 2024.
