This is a very friendly series, in true Salon-style, where guests are invited to enjoy a pre-concert drink included in the price, a one-hour performance (without interval), and then meet the performers and Trustees in the Club's bar after each recital for complimentary refreshments.
Formed in early 2024 at the Royal Academy of Music, the Karelia Quartet brings together violinists Emil Hartikainen and Megan Yang, violist Felix Pascoe, and cellist Daniel Schultz. The ensemble has rapidly distinguished itself through the depth of its musical insight, a commitment to thoughtful and imaginative programming, and a growing presence on major chamber music platforms.
In recognition of their artistic promise, they were selected as Kirckman Concert Society Artists for the 2026–27 season, joining a distinguished lineage of leading young chamber ensembles and undertaking a series of performances across the United Kingdom.
