St Stephen Walbrook, EC4N 8BN , [Venue Details]The eleventh month of the year begins liturgically with the Feast of All Saints and ends with that of Christ the King. It is a time when we remember those who have died but also includes the Feast of St Cecilia, the patron saint of music.
Canticum celebrates November with a programme of English music from Thomas Tallis to Gabriel Jackson, with, in between, gems by John Ireland and Herbert Howells, an anthem of symphonic scope by Elgar, and Britten’s Hymn to St Cecilia.
