Come and enjoy a diverse programme celebrating all things violin, drawing on works from Fenella Humphreys' brand new album Prism on Rubicon Classics.

A true journey in time, Fenella performs beloved works by Bach, Schumann and Debussy in new arrangements for solo violin, and leads us through to the music of today by brilliant young composer Sarah Frances Jenkins and Grammy winners Caroline Shaw and Jessie Montgomery. Bookended by Scottish fiddle music from Peter Maxwell Davies and Seonaid Aitken, the evening is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the violin, virtuosity and Fenella's new album!

Fenella Humphreys, winner of the 2023 BBC Music Magazine Premiere Recording Award, has attracted critical admiration and audience acclaim with the grace and intensity of her remarkable performances.
