The Utopiates - The Utopiates are back and set to release the first single from their forthcoming 2nd album ‘Neighbourhood’ after a 6-month hiatus!
London-based rising indie-electronic outfit The Utopiates return with ‘Neighbourhood’. The first single to be taken from the, as-of-yet, unnamed second album set for release in late 2025. Following on from the recent success of their debut album ‘The Sun Also Rises’(TSAR) (released in May 2023) The Utopiates are out to prove they are one of the most prolific new bands out there at the minute.
Signed to V2 Records they’ve spent the first part of 2024 recording and mixing 11 brand new tracks at The Nave in Leeds (Yard Act, Kaiser Chiefs) and are ready to hit the ground running in September with their outstanding, tour-de-force of a song ‘Neighbourhood’.
'Neighbourhood itself is an angry assessment of society’s double standards and what we’ve let ourselves grow used to in the last 15 years or so. We’re asking for a change in attitude, and we think it reflects the mood of the nation right now, 100%.'
