Leon Greening Quartet: The Music Of Cannonball Adderley
Twickenham Jazz Club, TW1 3SZ , [Venue Details]This time we present the incredible talent of one of our favourite and most gifted home grown pianists Leon Greening with virtuoso saxophonist Alex Garnett, top bassist Adam King and leading drummer Matt Skelton.
Headline Jazz bands don’t get better than this.
They will be playing many tunes written by the great Cannonball Adderley in a vibrant set which includes such classics as ‘This Here and That There‘ and ‘Del Sasser‘ all played with the integrity, flair and sheer panache’ that can only happen when such wonderful musicians grace our intimate Patchworks stage.
Reminiscent of the 1958 movie ‘Jazz On A Summer’s Day’. We hope that you can join us!
Best Wishes, Lesley Christiane
