Incendiary! featuring DIE TWICE and THE BEAUTIFUL BAD at Spice of Life Soho
The Spice of Life, W1D 5NA , [Venue Details]Hailing from Exeter, alt.rock four-piece Die Twice have already amassed a dedicated
following in their hometown for their explosive live shows, selling out the 500 capacity Exeter Phoenix just one year after their first gig.
They recently completed their first UK tour along with a string of festival appearances throughout the summer including Boardmasters, Wilderness, Rock Oyster and Sign of the Times.
With soaring vocals, duelling guitars, funked up beats and punk rock bass, coupled with a lyricism that belies their young age, Die Twice effortlessly channel a sound that nods to their heroes of the past and present. With influences from Jeff Buckley to Zeppelin, to Arctic Monkeys, to Blues, to pop and just a hint of Math rock, Die Twice create something that is wholly their own.
The Beautiful Bad use their music as a vehicle to express varied introspective and outward looking ideas. Penning ideas of discontentment in our present time norms, political unrest, social mundanity within our contemporaries pastimes, however never lifting the firm grip on their belief there is hope through the joys of anthemic yet intimate song-writing complemented by passionate live performances.
