With a layered ornamental technique, in which she uses her voice as a musical instrument, Nai brings a genre-defying link between Jazz and Arabic music.
Along with her Amsterdam-based quartet, she’s renowned for her stunning rearrangements of iconic pieces from Umm Kulthum to Fairuz as well as original work rooted in Arabic maqams, Jazz and classical Western music.
From her first stage appearances at the age of 14, Nai has gone to fill concert halls across the world. From Egypt to France, to the UN headquarters in New York, and selling out two London shows in 2023 as part of the EFG Jazz Festival.
