The Annunciation is a dramatic building in a fascinating and fast changing part of London. Pevsner notes that to enter the Annunciation is to have stumbled upon 'a fragment of a major medieval church'. The past is tangibly present.
The church is also home to a Calvary War Memorial, on the corner of Old Quebec Street and Bryanston Street. It commemorates those who lost their lives in WW1, including local service men.
