Since 2016, Stratos, our resident jazz band led by the talented and Mercury Prize-nominated Rio Kai, has held down this popular night, bringing together fans and musicians for an electrifying exploration of jazz.

Taboos Live Music Show is back this 2nd July 2026 at The Star in Shoreditch. Get set for night of dynamic new music from some of the UK’s most exciting emerging talents.

Eleanor (born Leonor Marques) is a 20-year-old Portuguese artist based in London. Her journey as an artist officially began on August 30th 2025, with the release of her debut single “Never Mine”, followed by the release of two other singles (“Paper Flowers” and “I Love You, Don’t Forget it”).

At Limehouse de Reverie our resident players are Ewan Bleach’s Cable Street Rag Band. As the name suggests, they are a band that formed at the Cable Street studios in Limehouse who play Rags. But that is not all.

Kiefer is a pianist and producer at the forefront of Los Angeles’ independent music scene, seamlessly bridging jazz, hip-hop, R&B and electronic music.

Hailed by Variety as “one of contemporary jazz’s most talented and inventive musicians” and praised by DownBeat as a “Jazz Warrior-Goddess”, pianist and composer Connie Han interprets the jazz tradition with her own fiery, contemporary voice.

The Royal College of Music Junior Department Jazz Ensemble makes its eighth appearance in the Late Night Jazz series. The band performs regularly at the RCM, together with annual gigs at the RAH and 606 Club.
