“Sharing New Orleans with the world is my calling,” says pianist and organist John “Papa” Gros (pronounced grow). “That’s what I have been doing and that’s what I’ll do with the rest of my life.”

SE11 Sessions is Tea House Theatre's monthly night of jazz, soul & funk. The last Saturday of the month. Each month a guest vocalist fronts the house band, before musicians of all influences and ages link up for a scintillating jam.

A Sunday lunchtime set of blues-drenched, clarinet-driven 1920’s New Orleans jazz with London’s hard-swinging vintage jazz band, The Dime Notes. Expect a repertoire full of stomps, blueses and forgotten gems from musicians such as Jelly Roll Morton, Johnny Dodds, and Red Nichols.
