Visiting Professor, composer and film historian Neil Brand demonstrates the art of improvisation in a screening of this 1922 classic based on Charles Dickens’ famous novel, starring Jackie Coogan and Lon Chaney.

YCAT artist Kasparas Mikužis performs piano works by Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis – one of Lithuania’s most iconic cultural figures – alongside electroacoustic music by Academy composer Alexander Papp.

Music composed by pianistic titans Charles-Valentin Alkan and Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji.

Audiovisual artist Kathy Hinde and Academy pianists create installations and collaborative performances combining sound, sculpture, images, and light.
