Supported by a full band, Memory will showcase in this anniversary songs from both of her albums, Pride & Asha, as well as new music, evoking nostalgia and peaking anticipation to hear what her musical evolution has grown to since Tahirah’s last release and last visit to the UK in 2019. Unable to fully tour her second album, Asha, due to the Pandemic, these shows are the perfect opportunity to bring this music back to her dedicated UK following, and then some! Massive world-change has brought Memory a fresh perspective and reiterates her love for poetic lyricism, to eagerly bring audiences a performance steeped in “you don’t want to miss this”!
Ever relevant singer/songwriter Tahirah Memory is a Portland, Oregon native. Raised by a willful, loving and resourceful mother, and shaped at an early age by the vibration and melodic hands of her jazz trumpeter father, Tahirah asserted her love for music extremely early in her childhood.
