Helena’s music-odyssey commenced in the early 2000's, nurturing her love for music with the likes of Incognito, The Brand New Heavies and Joss Stone. At the age of twelve, May encountered Jamiroquai's 'A Funk Odyssey', igniting further her passion for music and desire to be a singer.
Helena May unveiled her debut-studio album, 'Funkalicious' with Sheep Hill Records in 2021 - a collaborative effort with nineteen Austrian and British musicians, mastered by Grammy Award winner John Davis. Embracing a continued, collaborative approach with her upcoming second studio-album 'Puzzle Pieces’, sees May gaining rave reviews internationally, securing ’Track of the Week' with Jazz FM and live performances on BBC Radio London with Robert Elms.
