Pizza Express Live Holborn, WC1V 6LF , [Venue Details]Emerging from the London jazz and pop scene Josh Short and horn section partner Mike Anning have been in the background of many musical projects around the UK in recent years.
Playing with artists such as Macy Gray, Rick Astley and Olivia Dean - Saiga Tracks is a new project focusing on putting the horns in the spotlight. With virtuosic melodies and improvisation from the duo, supported with an all star band the project takes heavy inspiration from groups such as Incognito, RH Factor & Butcher Brown.
In late 2024 the band recorded an EP of tracks set for release in 2025. Recorded from the hallowed corridors of Pie and Mash Studio, this home recording feat. James Copus & Joabe Reis has been mix and mastered by the great James Knight.
