Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, W1D 4HT , [Venue Details]Expect a raucous atmosphere of burning bebop, playing the greats such as Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter and Charlie Parker, performed by a different house band of British jazz stars every Monday.
It’s a breeding ground for up-and-coming jazz talent to hone their jazz skills, and the place for the very best London jazz pros to come and let off steam after their gigs in town. You never know who might drop in. American jazz stars such as Esperanza Spalding, Jon Batiste and Christian Scott are just some who have popped in when in London.
Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Jam alumni include members of Ezra Collective, Mark Kavuma, Sarah Tandy, Ruben Fox, Camilla George, Binker Golding and Daniel Casimir, all who have gone on to have incredibly successful careers.
It’s a space for top level jazz instrumentalists to get together and play music from the canon of bebop and hardbop.
The Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Jam is the place to be and bebop every Monday night.
