Award-winning Australian songwriter Liz Stringer is celebrating the release of her seventh studio album with a special launch party with her band at St Pancras Old Church on Wednesday, June 18th.

@8.00pm

The Second High (out March 28th through Dot Dash/Remote Control Records) was recorded at Iguana Studios in Brixton, with Grammy nominated/Ivor Novello Award-winning producer Beni Giles (Lianna La Havas, Oscar Jerome) and heralds a new beginning for Stringer.

Building on the themes of recovery and self-realization explored in her critically acclaimed 2021 release First Time Really Feeling, The Second High examines and exposes with sharp commentary on relationships, social equity and personal authenticity.

The album is rooted in jazz, funk, pop and soul, harking back to Stringer’s early musical grounding and sees her return to the piano, her formative instrument.
