Alannah -Solo artist doing slick jazz tipped soul with hip hop beats, collaborates with a male rapper on some tracks, there’s a Amy Winehouse vibe (frank lp) in places, old school hip hop ala digable planets in others. great voice.
Cafe Drop - playing meaty renditions of soul and crossover rock pop stuff (a cracking rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s Black Magic Woman, in the wake of Santana). Highly talented bunch of players giving it their all. Ben Jordan - American independent musician from Denver, Colorado. He currently resides in Bristol, UK and tours worldwide. “His wandering years can be heard in the rich lyricism of his songs that are soaked in a sound that could only have come from the states; the lyrical playfulness of Paul Simon through a window of the heartland rock of Springsteen and Petty.” -Tom Nicholas - Ballad of a Thin Man.
