Following their two successive sell out shows during the week of celebrations for Scott Hamilton's music in January, we're pleased to welcome back Alex Clarke and Allison Neale together with Scott's regular trio of John Pearce, Dave Green and Steve Brown for a repeat performance.

A joyful night of music drawn from the classic jazz standards repertoire is guaranteed.

Alex Clarke, a finalist in the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year 2020, winner of the Rising Star category in the 2019 British Jazz Awards and three-time Parliamentary Jazz Awards nominee, is recognised as one of the most in-demand saxophonists on the British jazz scene. Rooted in the bebop tradition, her fiery, melodic playing draws inspiration from the likes of Phil Woods, Sonny Stitt & Cannonball Adderley. Alex has performed with notable names such as Alan Barnes, Dave O'Higgins & Mark Nightingale and regularly works with top ensembles including The Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra.

Allison Neale
Unique on the UK jazz scene, Seattle born altoist Allison Neale’s beautifully crafted lines evoke the spirit of Paul Desmond and Art Pepper with whom she has a particular affinity.
As a strong advocate of the melodic West Coast jazz style she is widely regarded as one of the finest exponents on today’s scene. In her early years she performed alongside leading international artists such as Ellington vocalist Adelaide Hall and altoist Bud Shank.
