He includes work with the likes of Latin legends Airto Moreira, Giovanni Hidalgo, and Eumir Deodato as well as UK based artists such as Snowboy, Roberto Pla and Viramundo on a glittering CV. And just to prove his versatility he is also one of this country’s leading exponents of Spanish music, and his set tonight will include his remarkable arrangements for piano of some classic Flamenco pieces. The night will feature music from John's long-awaited 2024 album “Room For Dancing”, a mix of his own brilliant tunes and exciting and innovative arrangements of favourite compositions from musical friends & as well as others who have influenced his own style. As on the album, as well as the fantastic Uruguayan guitarist Guille Hill, bassist Alec Dankworth and Tristan Banks-drums the gig will also feature Special Guests Eleonora Claps & Linley Weir on vocals.
