@7.30pm

His recently released debut album ‘Always Upwards’ features cinematic strings, shimmering synths, and ethereal textures, alongside notable collaborations with artists including Jessie Buckley and Sandrayati. Mezanmi’s live performances encompass elements of both soaring grandeur and pin-drop intimacy.

Having previously released music under the name AJIMAL, O'Hanlon released two critically acclaimed albums and was selected as one of the winners of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition in 2020. He was featured on the cover of The Times and has supported Van Morrison, Loney Dear, James Vincent McMorrow and Kathryn Joseph. Now, as Mezanmi, 'Always Upwards' has seen O’Hanlon enter a new era, with his previous ambient folk and contemporary classical sound taking on an increasingly electronic and experimental edge.
