Ailsa Tully / Lila Tristram / Sylvie Grey

The Victoria, E8 3AS , [Venue Details]

Ailsa Tully had created an ethereal world rooted in folk, tinged with indie and grounded by lo-fi field recordings. Ailsa’s vocals are tender yet determined, central to the haunting soundscape she has crafted. Her lyrics are unflinchingly honest, rousing, and poetic.

Playing the bass in a distinctive and unique way to accompany her voice, she is elevating it from its conventional role and exploring its unknown potential.

Ailsa has received support from BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, Amazing Radio and Radio Wales. She has been featured on Clash magazine, Dummy magazine, Line of Best Fit, Bandcamp Daily and a host of others.

Hailed by EARMILK as “one of the most powerful and unique artists we’ve heard this year,” Lila Tristram opens a striking new chapter. Known for her atmospheric, bucolic folk releases, she returns after two years spent in a remote countryside studio with her band, unveiling an elegiac folk-rock record that redefines her artistry.

Grounded in indie-folk soundscapes, Sylvie Grey's debut double-track single 'Odes & Shadows' was released 12 May 2024. She wrote, arranged and recorded both tracks alone on a Tascam Porta 2 tape machine in quiet moments from her bedroom floor in Bristol. Grey’s music is ethereal yet uneasy, bold yet nostalgic & utterly timeless.
