Sound artist, researcher, producer, curator and listener. During the last 30 years he has worked on countless projects related to listening and sonic creation.
In addition to his solo work, he has collaborated with a long list of artists and bands, oriented to experimental rock, free improvisation and electronic / concrete music (Cafe Teatro, Francisco Lopez, Niño de Elche, Jean Luc Guionnet, Billy Bao, Mattin…).

Emerging from the left bank of the Nervión River, close to Bilbao, Ibon RG has been involved in Bizkaia's independent and experimental scene for decades as a promoter, producer, arranger, and above all, as a musician.
In this field, he collaborates with and is part of numerous bands and ensembles, rooted in hardcore, contemporary music, folklore, polyphony, and free improv. With all of them, he has an extensive discography in which he plays several classical instruments (piano, guitar, trumpet, trombone) as well as others more closely related to Basque folklore (txalaparta, txistu, xirula, ttunttun, etc.).
