This all star five-piece band will perform a range of music from Africa so you will hear jazz fused with a mixture of Afrobeat, Township and Funk rhythms from such artists as Abdullah Ibrahim, Manu Dibango and Fela Kuti.
Jazz Africa are:
Basil Hodge - piano, keyboard, percussion
Tony Kofi - tenor, soprano saxophones and djembe
Stuart Fiddler - guitar
Andrew John - bass guitar
Rod Youngs - drums
Expect breath taking musicianship including djembe and percussion skills from these excellent players.
