All three musicians have deep roots in traditional music, share a passion for tunes from Ireland, the UK and Brittany, and draw upon their combined influences to create complex, compelling and heartfelt arrangements.
Between them they have performed and recorded with Maddy Prior, Nancy Kerr, Tim van Eyken, Red Dog Green Dog and Duotone. Owl Light Trio has performed at Gower, Oxford, Sidmouth, Shrewsbury, Tandem, Wood and Klangrausch folk festivals and the Nest Collective’s Campfire Club. The trio released their second album ‘Sound into Light’ on 1 May to glowing reviews: ‘Beautifully played, full of tunes to dance to and brimming with charm’. (Tradfolk)
