Nottingham’s Do Nothing bring their sharp-witted, genre-blurring post-punk to an intimate setting at Paper Dress Vintage for a very special underplay show on Thursday 28 August.
Fresh from a year of festival stages and acclaim for their debut album ‘Snake Sideways’ – which landed in the Top 10 of the UK Independent Charts – the band return with a brand new single, ‘Summer of Hate’. It’s playful, weird, and unmistakably Do Nothing: surrealist lyrics, off-kilter grooves and frontman Chris Bailey’s brilliantly skewed take on the world.
Expect favourites from Snake Sideways alongside new material as the band gears up for album two, bringing their unique mix of disjointed indie-funk, anxious energy and dark humour.
