Expect a foot-stomping blend of bluegrass, country & folk. with rich harmonies, driving rhythms, and stories that echo the spirit of the open road.
If you think Johnny Cash, Ry Cooder, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, John Hiatt, Tom Waits, Muddy Waters, Keb Mo, Taj Mahal, Lightning Hopkins, The Band, Rolling Stones and a few more in the same vein, you won’t be far out.
We’ll kick off with open mic/floorspots from musicians, singers & poets, followed by the 1st of 2 sets from Ridgerunner starting around 8.20 pm.
Payment is by hat collection in CASH for the guests, with a £6 minimum contribution suggested. Please consider giving a bit more if you can afford it.
The premises & OLC’s CAMRA award-winning club bar (CARD payments only) will be open from 7 pm. It’s Free entry to OLC and CAMRA members with a £1 charge to others payable at the bar.
