Having studied with teachers such as Will Cleasby, Billy Hart, Steve Williamson, Sultan Stevenson and Deschanel Gordon, she has been shown the wonders and versatility of drums within the genre.
Her influences and inspirations include the works of jazz legends such as Max Roach,
Tony Williams and Jeff “Tain” Watts. Miranda has performed at venues such as Dizzy’s Jazz Club (NYC), Pizza Express, Love Supreme, The Vortex and We Out Here.
