Jenny Adejayan is a London-born cellist of Nigerian/Grenadian descent who studied at the University of Manchester and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. An active performer and freelancer within the world-music, jazz and pop/rock scenes in particular, she has collaborated with numerous artists over the years, from Sir Tom Jones and Courtney Pine to Nitin Sawhney and Emeli Sande, in live shows, recordings and television appearances. Jenny also regularly performs with the Antonio Forcione Quartet, Jerry Dammers’ Spatial AKA Orchestra & Robyn Hitchcock among others, alongside teaching and leading workshops in schools across London. She has also twice performed with her own quartet at the London African Music Festival at the Southbank Centre, London.
Matheus Nova is very popular in the Latin and London music circles on electric and acoustic bass. He is recognised for his ability to ‘design’ astonishing bass lines. It has been said of him that he has the ability to “transform folkloric into “funkloric”.
