Vocalist with The Cinematic Orchestra since 2006, Heidi Vogel has opened for Erykah Badu, performed at Montreux Jazz festival for Quincy Jones and appeared live on The Jimmy Kimmel Show, as well as performing at The Royal Albert Hall and The Sydney Opera House.
Heidi has racked up an impressive list of collaborations, adding her vocal talents to performances with the likes of Thundercat, Sheila Maurice Grey of Kokoroko, Mark Lewandowski’s tribute to Billie Holiday 'A Bouquet (for Lady Day)', Xhosa Cole, Soweto Kinch, and for Bruno Heinen’s quartet The W, among many others.
Heidi's debut album Turn up the Quiet - presents Heidi's mix of Brazilian Bossa Nova and jazz classics - received impressive write-ups from the likes of Jazzwise and Jazz Times, as well as support from Jamie Cullum, Benji B, Osunlade and many others.
