Arash Sobhani

Kings Place, Hall Two, N1 9AG , [Venue Details]

Join us for the debut concert of DOOD, Arash Sobhani’s new musical journey.

Sunday,
7 Dec 2025
@7.30pm

DOOD captures the spirit of cosmopolitan New York – free-form, unpredictable, and alive with global influences. Blending jazz, rebetiko, klezmer, swing, and Persian melodies, the music is rich with improvisation and emotional depth.

At its core are Sobhani’s lyrics: existential, poetic, and deeply human. Inspired by Khayyam and Dylan, the songs explore exile, longing, and life’s contradictions – offering kinship through uncertainty.

The debut album Smoke is a meditation on transience, memory, and meaning. With noir jazz grooves and cinematic ambience, DOOD invites listeners into a global dialogue of sound and soul.
