Vocalist Noel McCalla has sung for names like Morrisey Mullen, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band and Mezzoforte.
On this occasion he and his band “In Good Hands” will be paying tribute to the great US soul legends - Al Jarreau, Bill Withers and Al Green.
Noel’s career started in the 70’s with the band ‘Moon’ who recorded two albums for epic records The band received high acclaim. The mid eighties also saw Noel hook up with the seminal jazz/funk band Morrisey/Mullen while providing vocals on Mike Rutherford’s highly acclaimed album “Smallcreep’s Day”.
From the early 90’s, for more than 18 years, Noel’s searing, soulful vocals were featured with the iconic Manfred Mann’s Earth Band. Noel has also worked for Alfonso Johnson, Mike Rutherford, Paul Wellar and Trevor Rabin.
