Dominic Miller
606 Club, SW10 0QD , [Venue Details]“"searing electric fretwork as well as crystalline acoustic chords. . ."” Washington Times
Guitarist Dominic Miller is probably best known as Sting’s “right hand man” and co-writer of “Shape of My Heart”, amongst a number of other co-collaborations.
Dominic has contributed to every Sting album since 1991's “The Soul Cages” and has played thousands of concerts around the world with the former Police bandleader and vocalist.
But the list of Dominic's other engagements is almost endless and can hardly be divided into categories, including work with Phil Collins, The Chieftains, Paul Simon, Eddi Reader, Katie Melua, Bryan Adams, Paul Young, Nigel Kennedy, Peter Gabriel, and Tina Turner, to name but a few. He has also released twelve albums under his own name, including his latest,'Vagabond' on the highly-regarded European label, ECM Records. A fascinating mix of jazz, pop, acoustic folk, contemporary classical and Latin elements, the record combines all these styles into something completely new. Accompanied by Nicolas Fiszman-bass and Ziv Ravitz-drums these performances are two of only three that he'll play with his Trio in 2026 - not to be missed.
