19 Apr 2026
@8.00pm

Following two sold-out shows, this performance offers an exclusive first look at brand-new material from Collie’s forthcoming album, recorded at Peter Gabriel’s legendary Real World Studios and set for release in mid-2026. Expect rich interplay, lyrical melodies and deep grooves from one of the UK’s most inventive jazz voices in the intimate surroundings of PizzaExpress Live Soho.

Born in Croydon and growing up in Cambridgeshire, Terence Collie knew that making music would be his career path. A self-taught keyboard player with a keen ear for pop tunes, he joined his first professional band in Jersey at 17. Between 1988 and 1995, Collie performed regularly in the Island’s hotels, pubs and nightclubs, and developed a deep passion for jazz at the Blue Note Jazz Bar, learning from experienced musicians and studying jazz piano alongside private classical lessons. During this period, he had the opportunity to support artists such as Teddy Edwards, The Average White Band, Georgie Fame, Andy Sheppard, Jason Rebello and Digby Fairweather.
