With influences that spread from Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Donny Hathaway and Gregory Porter to Lianne La Havas, Yebba and Cleo Sol, Amethyst’s sound encompasses old school soul instrumentation, with soothing jazz vocals and lyrics that can resonate with any listener. With support from the likes of Jamz Supernova at 1XTRA, Victoria Jane at Radio 1 and Jamie Cullum at Radio 2 as well as backing from COLORS, GUAP, Dummy Mag, Crack Mag, Rinse FM, Foundation FM and Jazz FM, Amethyst is already making waves in the UK music scene.
