Anat Cohen's range goes from infectious swingers to lilting balladry, exploring modern and traditional jazz, classical music, Brazilian choro, Argentine tango and Afro-Cuban styles along the way.
With multiple GRAMMY nominations and performances at the likes of Carnegie Hall and SFJAZZ, Anat is now firmly established as one of the primary voices of her generation on both the tenor saxophone and clarinet. The New York Times even profiled her as “a revelation” on the clarinet, crediting her as the primary force for bringing it into the 21st-century as a solo instrument.
For these shows, Anat will present music from her 2024 album Bloom with her group Quartetinho, alongside selections from her extensive back catalogue.
