Spanning 60 remarkable years Neil Hubbard's distinct, soulful guitar sound has graced stages and recordings with some of the world's greatest artists.
He even played on and contributed to the original concept album Jesus Christ Superstar. Known for his impeccable classy style and timing, Neil is deeply loved and respected by fellow musicians past and present - though always so humble about his extraordinary career.
In 2022, Neil received a devastating diagnosis: Lewy Body Dementia, a particularly cruel and often misunderstood condition. Despite the challenges of cognitive decline, at present Neil still retains the ability to play guitar - a testament to the enduring power of music.
"A Night for Neil" is both a celebration and a call to action. This special concert will bring together many of the incredible musicians and artists Neil has collaborated with over the years, all performing in his honour while raising crucial funds for the Lewy Body Society, funding vital research to help improve diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately find a cure for this dreadful disease. All profits from the event will go directly to support their work.
