Alexander Carson

Green Note Ltd, Green Note, NW1 7AN , [Venue Details]

Alexander Carson is a Singer-Songwriter/Composer based in Norwich Norfolk, United Kingdom.

Sunday,
1 Mar 2026
@8.30pm

Carson first picked up the piano at age 4 (which is especially difficult considering the weight) and was classically trained, their music reflects this discipline and sounds like a cross between Chopin and Rufus Wainwright.

Carson will be performing with their new backing band and playing songs from their forthcoming, unreleased album “Triptych.” The album explores themes about PTSD around leaving a cult in their teens, estrangement from family and a sense of ‘home’, and grappling with the concept of mortality. Heavy stuff, but delivered with a playful naivety that makes it not only palatable but compelling.

“The level of exploration and care puts me in mind of some of mid Talk Talk’s work and also that flare for journey that bands like Alt J have.” – Guy Garvey (Elbow) BBC6 Music
