Multi-award winning guitarist Nigel Price’s stellar career has spanned more than 25 years. He is well known for his blend of flowing bebop lines together with a deep blues sensibility with his mastery of chording continuing to delight audiences and fellow musicians alike. Price’s early influences include Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass and John Mclaughlin and as well s being a tireless organiser of his own tours, he has picked up a Parliamentary Jazz Award and a British Jazz Award for Best Guitarist along the way.
Genoese born guitarist Alessio Menconi (Billy Cobham, Paola Conte, Larry Coryell) is a constant demand for performances in his native Italy. In 2012 he was included as ‘the only Italian’ in a compilation attached to “La Stampa” newspaper entitled ‘greatest guitarists in the world’ and in 2014 his CD “Sketches of Miles” was included in “Jazz It” as among the best 100 jazz records of the year.
