LIVE AT THE BEDFORD - SAMUEL TAYLOR, MATT LARKIN
The Bedford, THE PUB, SW12 9HD , [Venue Details]Indie folk artist Samuel Taylor’s 2025 debut single ‘Little World’ has established him as one to watch, with support across tastemakers including: Notion, Atwood, Earmilk, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing, to name a few.
Having been discovered and signed to No Road Records by Jesse Quin (Keane, Mt. Desolation), Taylor’s new EP showcases the solo artist’s heart-rending songs of love and longing that leave you certain that, however bad things get, it will be alright.
Matt Larkin - Originating from Ireland, Matt decided to make the big move to London in 2021 to pursue his musical dream. For the past few years, Matt has been involved in many songwriting camps perfecting his craft and has gained a following of fans whilst playing gigs around the UK and Ireland with his latest gig being in St Pancras Old Church. Matt was also shortlisted to play at Sea Sessions festival in Ireland last year! Matt’s style of music would be a mixture of soft pop, alternative-pop and electro-pop and cites Tom Odell, Simon & Garfunkel and Joji as some of his influences. He believes that the meaning behind a song is important and rarely writes a song that doesn’t have a strong message or story behind it. He quotes that “if one person can relate to one of my songs on a personal level, that’s when I know I am doing my job right!”
