Luke Doyle is a Welsh violinist and actor recognised as one of the UK's most exceptional young musical talents. Currently the Sir Nicolas Bratza Scholar at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Luke served as one of the youngest-ever Leaders of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales and was awarded the prestigious Irwyn Walters Award for string players in 2023. A former specialist music scholar at Wells Cathedral School, his musical training began at age eleven, the same year he auditioned for and secured the role of young Dovidl in François Girard's film The Song of Names, showcasing both his acting abilities and genuine violin virtuosity alongside Clive Owen and Tim Roth. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and features a score by Oscar-winning composer Howard Shore.
